For you salmon lovers, this may be the best appetizer you can serve. The sweetness of the maple candied bacon smoked salmon paired with the creaminess and kick of the jalapeno cheese and topped off with the crunch of a cracker for the ultimate bite. I know there is a lot to prepare to get to the final product but all I can say is, it’s worth it!
This recipe is made with our Maple Candied Bacon Glazed Smoked Salmon. However, you can use any smoked salmon to save on time. That said, if you are looking for that ultimate bite, I suggest using the Maple Candied Bacon Glazed Smoked Salmon. It’s out of this world!

Lessons Learned (Note: I will update this section to include your lessons learned from the comment section)
The recipe for the glaze is more appropriate for a 3-pound salmon filet. I had about 50% extra one 1.5-pound salmon filet.
